Getting to NAVDEX

Taxis are readily available from Abu Dhabi International Airport and all hotels around the Capital city. 

Alternatively they can be pre-booked through Al Ghazal on +971 (0) 2 444 7787 and National Transport Company (NTC) +971 2 622 3300.

Dubai taxis can be ordered via Dubai Transport +971 (0) 4 208 0808.

Khaleej Al Arabi Street (also know as Coast Road/30th Street) and Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum St  (also known as Airport Road) are the two main highways that link Abu Dhabi’s Corniche/City Centre with ADNEC. 

Directions via Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum St (Airport Road)

Travel along Airport Road from the Corniche (heading out of Abu Dhabi) until you reach the cross street numbered 29.  Go over this street and take the next exit off to the right signed towards ‘East Road’ and ‘Coast Road’. At the roundabout take the first exit. 

Pick up signs to IDEX/ADNEC and follow directions to the designated multi-story car park.

Directions via Khaleej Al Arabi Street

Travel along Khaleej Al Arabi Street from the Corniche (heading out of Abu Dhabi) until you pass the iconic Capital Gate tower and exhibition centre on your left hand side.  As you pass ADNEC you need to move into the right hand lane and take the next exit signed towards ‘Corniche’ and ‘Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum St’. 

Pick up signs to IDEX/ADNEC and follow directions to the designated multi-story car park.

Head out of Al Ain on E22 following signs to Abu Dhabi, use Mussafah Bridge to cross onto the island.  You will then be on Khaleej Al Arabi Street, continue past Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Zayed Sports City on your right hand side and pick up signs for the Exhibition Centre.

The journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is extremely easy and straightforward. From Jebel Ali, Dubai to ADNEC the drive should take no more than 45 minutes.

Leave Dubai on the Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), following the signs for Abu Dhabi/ Jebel Ali. As you leave the emirate of Dubai and enter the emirate of Abu Dhabi the name of the road changes to the Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road. You stay on this road for approximately 30 minutes, passing Al Raha Mall your right. 

About 5 minutes after passing the mall move to the right hand lane.  Exit the Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road, following the signs for Abu Dhabi (E22). Stay in the right hand lane and continue to follow the signs for Abu Dhabi (E22).

Once on the E22, continue over Al Maqtaa Bridge, at this point the iconic Sheikh Zayed Mosque should be on your left.  You will now be on Airport Road, continue along for 2km until you reach a set of traffic lights (a park will be on your left hand side).  Continue straight passing an ADNOC petrol station on your right, and a Carrefour supermarket on your.  Take the immediate exit to the right after the supermarket, following the signs for the exhibition centre.

At the roundabout take the fourth exit and following signs to the allocated multi-story car park.

ADNEC offers on-site car parking for 6,200 cars in two-multi storey car parks.  Both car parks have direct pedestrian access to all halls and the centre’s facilities.
A pay-on-foot payment system is expected to be operational during NAVDEX and IDEX, the charges are likely to be:

Up to 4 hrs: 10 AED
4 – 7 hrs: 15 AED
7 – 12hrs: 20 AED
12 – 24hrs: 40 AED
Over 24hrs: 100 AED

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUX) is just 20 minutes from ADNEC.  Over 25 international airlines operate a schedule of flights connecting Abu Dhabi to Africa, Europe, Asia, Australasia, and the Americas and the surrounding GCC.

Metered taxis are readily available outside the arrivals hall.

The Road & Transport Authority operates a Deluxe Coach Service between Dubai and the capital Abu Dhabi. 

Two bus routes (Number E102/E100) start from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, Bur Dubai, Dubai and drop off on Airport Road near Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi.  From here you will be able to catch a taxi for the 10 minute journey to ADNEC.  A single bus journey costs 15/20AED (Around US$4/5.5).  For more information or a timetable please call 800 9090
